What's Your Why?
So why do you really want it? Is it to shed those extra pounds, bulk up those muscles, or simply have the energy to keep up with your kids or grandkids? Your "why" is what drives you towards your goal, whether it's fitting into that old pair of jeans or being able to climb a mountain without breaking a sweat, it doesn't matter. Your why is what helps you get there.
And your why may change over time. For example, my "why" for when I started going to the gym was purely to look good. And there's nothing wrong with that. But now I go to the gym and lift weights so that I'm strong enough to pick up my girls and give them a cuddle whenever they need or want one.
(Also, so I'm able to fight off marauding packs of looters who try to break into my house to still my tinned food when society inevitably crumbles and reduces us back to a state of survival of the fittest/ kill or be killed...)
It's not always just about the physical achievement; it's about what that achievement allows you to do. The bigger your "why," the better equipped you are to smash those goals and make them a reality. So, dig deep, find your motivation, and let that drive you towards success!
Have a great day!
